Former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has always been a celebrity trendsetter. Dhoni has been inspiring us all for years, from his unusual gaming attitude to his hairstyles and hobbies.
On August 15, 2020, after a prosperous cricketing career for almost 16 years, he retired from international cricket.
Since then, he has been seen participating in numerous traditional and experimental practices. In his farmhouse in Ranchi, Jharkhand, one such impressive enterprise is farming. In his 43-acre farmhouse in Ranchi, Dhoni planted organic fruits and vegetables on almost 10 acres of land. Cabbage, tomatoes, strawberries, peas and more are among the fruits and vegetables grown in this region.
The 39-year-old cricketer is all set to take this farming company to a global forum. Vegetables grown in his farm will soon be sold in the Dubai market, according to reports making the rounds on the internet. It is said that the supply of Dhoni's farm-grown organic food to the Dubai market is in the final process.
The organization that would market those vegetables in the UAE was also finalized. This department is also responsible for the sale in the Gulf countries of different Indian fruits and vegetables. Furthermore, it is claimed that the Department of Agriculture of Jharkhand has assumed responsibility for sending these fresh organic items to the UAE from Ranchi.
Dhoni, who made a return to cricket in the UAE with the IPL 2020 (ICC World Cup after 2019), is reportedly on family vacation in Dubai. He recently hosted a dinner for Yuzvendra Chahal, the newlywed cricketer, and his wife, Dhanasree Verma, who happened to be in Dubai for their honeymoon as well.
