Dr. Bijendra Singh Appointed Full Time Vice Chancellor of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University

Dr. Bijendra Singh, Vice Chancellor of Acharya Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology, Ayodhya, has been appointed as the full-time Vice Chancellor of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya. He formally assumed charge on Monday in the presence of university officials. The appointment was made by Avadh University Chancellor and Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel. 

Dr. Singh, a distinguished agricultural scientist, has made significant contributions to the field of agricultural research over the years. While serving as the Vice Chancellor of Acharya Narendra Dev University in Kumarganj, Ayodhya, he was also entrusted with the additional responsibility of heading Avadh University. His leadership in both roles earned him recognition for effectively managing academic and administrative affairs.

Prior to this full-time appointment, Dr. Singh had been overseeing the university’s functioning on the Chancellor’s instructions, ensuring smooth operations and academic continuity. His official appointment has been warmly welcomed by the officers, staff, and academic community, who greeted him with floral garlands to mark the occasion. 

Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Singh thanked the officials and Governor for their trust and confidence in his leadership. He reaffirmed his commitment to furthering the university’s academic excellence, research initiatives, and student development. His vast experience in agricultural education and research is expected to bring new opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and growth at Avadh University.

With this appointment, Dr. Singh is set to steer the institution towards strengthening its academic stature and expanding its contribution to higher education in Uttar Pradesh.
