Dr Suresh Kumar Malhotra Appointed Vice-Chancellor of Mahrana Pratap Horticultural University, Karnal

In a significant development for the agricultural education landscape, Dr Suresh Kumar Malhotra, currently serving as the Director of ICAR-DKMA, GOI, has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Maharana Pratap Horticultural University, Karnal. His appointment, effective for a three-year term, marks a milestone in his illustrious career spanning over 34 years in the field of agriculture research and administration.

The decision, made in accordance with sub-sections (1) and (3) of Section 20 of the Mahrana Pratap Horticulture University Karnal Act 2015, allows Dr. Malhotra to continue his tenure as Vice-Chancellor until the age of 68 or three years from assuming office, whichever comes earlier. Bandaru Dattatraya, the Governor of Haryana and Chancellor of Maharana Pratap Horticulture University Karnal, has officially conferred this prestigious position upon him.
