Delhi University is likely to release its first cutoff list tomorrow i.e. Friday, 28th June 2019. The cutoff list is expected to be live on the DU official website - du.ac.in after midnight today. How to get admission in DU colleges: Step-by-step process

Here is detailed process in which students can obtain admission in Delhi University colleges after the cutoff list is out:

1st Step - DU's first cutoff is expected to be released post-midnight on the Delhi University official website. Some colleges can also upload their own list on their particular website. It must be noted that the cutoffs will be based on Best of Four Subjects.

2nd Step - Students are advised to carefully check the required criteria & select the college they are eligible for - based on the criteria.

3rd Step - After that, candidates need to log on to the official DU admissions portal & pick the appropriate college & course/programme they are eligible for to generate the admission form.

4th Step - Then they will have to approach the particular college. Students must carry the following documents for admission:

  • Print out of admission form downloaded from DU website

  • Class X Original marksheets and Xerox copies

  • Class XII Original marksheets and Xerox copies

  • Birth certificate

  • 3 recent passport size photos

  • Community certificate, if any (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/CW/KM)

5th Step - Student will have to submit the documents in the college for verification (if it is not verified online), after which the admission will be approved.

6th Step - After you complete all the above mentioned steps - a link to pay fees will be generated on the admission portal. Students need to submit the required college fees through credit card or debit card or net banking, in certain time-frame. Student will be given provisional admission in the college after paying the fees.

7th Step – If a student wants to change his or her college then they first need to revoke their existing admission online & follow ‘steps 2 – 6’ again for the preferred college.
