e-Shram Portal: How to Register & Other details

The e Shram card is a Unique Identification Number Card, and the Ministry of Labor and Employment is the authority that issues it. PM Narendra Modi launched this initiative for employees and labourers in the unorganised sector.

The e-Shram card is a Unique Identification Number Card, and the Ministry of Labor and Employment is the authority that issues it. PM Narendra Modi launched this initiative for employees and laborers in the unorganised sector.

The primary goal of this scheme is to benefit the country's workers and laborers. The Ministry of Labor and Employment just gathered all of the necessary information.

E Shram Portal was created for all of the country's workers and laborers. The government can use this to create new schemes for laborers and workers. New policies can be implemented as a result of this, and new job opportunities can be made available to the unemployed.

Documents needed for the e-Shram Portal:

  • Aadhar card

  • Aadhar connected mobile number

  • A bank account details (in order to register for the e-SHRAM portal)

  • Age limit of the applicant: 16-59 years

By visiting the e-SHRAM site or the nearest CSC, a worker can update his personal information, such as his mobile number, current address, occupation, educational qualification, skill types, family details, and so on.

How to get registered at e-Shram Portal?

Step 1: Go to register.eshram.gov.in and fill out the registration form.

Step 2: Enter the Aadhaar number from your Aadhaar card.

Step 3: Provide the phone number mentioned in your Aadhaar card and enter captcha code.

Step 4: Enter the OTP and proceed to the next stage.

This is the procedure for registering for the E-Shram Portal online.

The benefits of the E-Shram Scheme

The E Shram Portal comes with a number of advantages. All Shramik will receive benefits from social security plans implemented by the federal and state governments through a single platform, e-SHRAM. Benefits from government programmes are distributed based on eligibility.

1 lakh rupees for partial disability and 2 lakh rupees for unintentional death You will be covered by accident insurance after registering for the e-Shram portal.
