e-SHRAM Card Registration: So far more than 97 lakh workers have registered on the 'e-Shram' portal. 

All the workers in the unorganized sector, whose EPF is not deducted or does not come under the purview of ESIC, should register for e-Shram Card. Anyone of the age between 16 to 60 years can register through the official e-Shram Portal. 

Accident insurance of Rs 2 lakh will be available as soon as registration is done without spending a single rupee. Apart from this, there are many other benefits.

For registration, you can also take the help of Common Service Centers present across the country. After registration, an e-shram card will be issued with the Universal Account Number (UAN) of the person.

Step by Step Process of e-Shram Card Registration: 

• Log on to the official website.

• Click on Self Registration tab.

• Log in through OTP from the number linked to Aadhaar. Enter Aadhaar Number.

• Now the information will appear on the next screen and you have to accept it.

• After this, further forms have to be filled.

• The first form will be of personal information.

• The form of residential detail has to be filled.

• Information about educational qualifications will have to be given.

• After that check all the details and save it.

Other details to be filled: 

• Choose the kind of work you want to do. 

• Select your work area in the list given on the portal. If there is no option then fill the code after viewing it from PDF. 

• Fill in the bank account details. Enter name and other details. 

• Click on OK, details will available for preview. Check and again click OK. 

• You will receive OTP fill & submit, your card will appear on the screen. It will also have a QR code.
