The wait for Comedy-King Kapil Sharma’s wedding has finally come to an end as the couple finally tied the knot on Wednesday. Kapil tied knot with his longtime girlfriend Ginni Chatrath in Jalandhar. 

Comedian Kapil Sharma got hitched with his girlfriend in an intimate ceremony, with only close friends and family in attendance. Soon after completing the wedding rituals, Kapil shared their first picture as newlyweds on his social media accounts.

Ginni responds on marrying Kapil and said, "Kapil is a gem of a person and very caring. There is no one like him and I can't find anyone better than him. He is a family man. He is still humble the way he was years ago and hasn't changed at all." 

Guests at the wedding includes Kapil's friends from the television industry, like Krushna Abhishek, Sumona Chakravarti, Rajiv Thakur, Comedian-Bharti and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa.  

Kapil was showered with lots of love and blessings from friends and fans. Sunil Grover also congratulated Kapil on twitter. He tweeted, “Wishing @KapilSharmaK9 and @ChatrathGinni a happy married life. May God give you happiness and togetherness always. Best wishes. 

Interestingly, the wedding festivities began with a ‘jagran’ at Kapil's residence in Amritsar. The couple would host a reception in Kapil’s hometown in Amritsar on 14 December, where Daler Mehndi is set to perform. Second reception will be on 24 December in Mumbai.
