On July 12, 2024, the Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Barwani, Madhya Pradesh, buzzed with activity as farmers from across the region gathered for the 'MFOI Samridh Kisan Utsav.' Organized by Krishi Jagran and sponsored by Mahindra Tractors, the event was themed 'Maximizing Farmers' Income for a Prosperous Bharat.'

The Utsav, sponsored by Dhanuka Agritech and STIHL India, and supported by Somani Seedz, with ICAR as the knowledge partner, provided a significant platform for the agricultural community. The primary goal of this program was to connect farmers with the latest agricultural practices and innovations. Over 200 farmers attended the event at the KVK campus, gaining valuable insights into new techniques and farming-related knowledge from experts.

The event started with participant registration, followed by Saraswati Pujan. The agenda included discussions on essential topics such as farm mechanization and natural farming. The event was graced by distinguished guests including Faiz Ahmad Kidwai, Additional Secretary of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. Bardiya; Vijendra Patil (DDM, NARBARD); Dilip Patihar (Progressive Farmer FPO, Chairman, Nation to Earth, NGO); Radheshyam Sisodia (Chairman, Nivali Farmer Producer Company Limited); Dr. D.K. Jain (Scientist, Horticulture Department); Deepak Patihar (Udan Vendor, Daily DJ); R.K. Sighare (AAO, Agriculture Department); Dr. Ratnavat (Veterinary Hospital, Badwani); G.R. Baghe (Officer, Horticulture); Nikhil Parvika; Mahesh Sharma (Dhanuka Agritech Limited); Rupesh Choudhary (Mahindra Tractors); Prince Gandhi (Mahindra Dealer); Pancham Singh (Somanee Seeds); Rajeev Kumar (Chief Manager, Bank of India, Badwani)

Keynote speakers provided valuable insights into innovative farming solutions and cutting-edge agricultural equipment. Discussions focused on ways to enhance farm income, while recognizing the achievements of progressive farmers in the region. Following the presentations, outstanding farmers were awarded certificates for their contributions, highlighting their dedication and success.

The Utsav featured displays from Mahindra Tractors, Stihl India, Somani Seeds, and Dhanuka Agritech Limited. Farmers had the opportunity to explore the latest models and products, gaining firsthand knowledge about advancements in farming technology. Mahindra Tractors showcased their new tractor models, emphasizing their commitment to supporting agricultural development. Stihl India's stall highlighted future technologies designed to simplify farming and horticulture. Meanwhile, Somani Seeds and Dhanuka Agritech Limited presented their new products, detailing their benefits for modern agriculture.
