Farmers to Protest Outside Haryana CM’s House on 12 September

At the end of the year-long campaign against farm laws, farmers will gather at the Nada Sahib Gurdwara in Panchkula and then march to the CM's residence.

A large number of farmers, under the leadership of Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) (Sir Chotu Ram) organised a convention ‘Zamin Bachao, Kisan Bachao’ i.e. save land, save farmers at Gurdwara Neem Sahib in Kaithal (Haryana).

Darshanpal, Suresh Koth, and Ranjeet Singh Raju of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) and Bhadur Mehla and Jagdeep Aulakh, leaders of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Chotu Ram) spoke to the farmers on the occasion.

They criticized the government's plan to transfer the Jumla Mustarka Malkan and Shamlat lands to gram panchayats and noted that farmers had been using these areas for farming for many years. During the meeting, farmers also planned to march towards the CM's house in Chandigarh on September 12.

At the end of the year-long campaign against farm laws, farmers will gather at the Nada Sahib Gurudwara in Panchkula and then march to the CM's residence in protest of the PM's broken promises. A guarantee law was also requested by farmer leaders to secure MSP and justice for the victims of Lakhimpur Kheri.
