Former One Direction Member Liam Payne Passes Away At 31

Liam Payne, the former 1D star has passed away after falling from the 3rd floor of his hotel balcony in Argentina. The 31-year-old English singer's death has shocked everyone. Fans came flooding outside his hotel in Buenos Aires once the news was out.

One Direction was one of the most popular boy bands until it went on "indefinite hiatus" in 2016. 

The police said in a statement that they rushed to the CasaSur Hotel when a staff notified them of an "aggressive man who could be under the effects of drugs and alcohol."

Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan came together to form One Direction on July 23rd, 2010. They were a part of the X-Factor UK 2010. Their split, after Zayn Malik, a former 1D member left to start a solo career, devasted fans across the globe.

Liam's latest single "Teardrop" was released earlier this year. Details around his death remain vague. 

Liam posted a video on Snapchat saying "It's a lovely day here in Argentina," days before the tragedy struck.
