Former UP CM Mulayam Singh Yadav's Health Deteriorates, Shifted to Critical Care Unit at Medanta
The Samajwadi Party supremo has developed pneumonia and his medical status is said to be critical as of now.
Currently being treated by a team of specialists at Gurugram’s Medanta, the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Mulayam Singh Yadav has been shifted to the Critical Care Unit.
The Samajwadi Party patron has been put on the ventilator after a dip in the oxygen level and kidney complications and is being treated by Dr. Nitin Sood and Dr. Sushil Kataria at Medanta, Gurugram. The 82-year-old has been hospitalized since august 22, 2022 for a lung ailment.
According to media sources, he has developed pneumonia and his medical status is said to be critical as of now.
PM Modi spoke to the Samajwadi Party chief and Yadav’s son Akhilesh Yadav and enquired about his ailing father’s health and assured him of all possible support. Besides PM Modi, many prominent personalities have also shown their concern for the former CM of UP.
In a tweet, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said, “We all are concerned about the deteriorating health condition of Mulayam Singh Yadav and are praying for his health.” According to sources, UP CM, Yogi Adityanath also called the doctors at the hospital and asked them to provide the best treatment to the SP supremo.
