FSSAI Internship 2020: Check Eligibility Criteria, Important Dates & Method to Apply

Food Safety & Standards Authority of India, popularly known as FSSAI has invited applications from eligible students for its Internship scheme for the month of April 2020.

FSSAI welcomes online applications for April 2020 Internship Program that will provide different opportunities for interns to learn and understand through a well-designed training plan.

Eligibility Criteria for FSSAI Internship

Candidates pursuing a regular postgraduate degree or diploma or higher degree from a Recognized University/Institute within India or abroad, in any of the following:

• Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Food Technology, Microbiology or any other related field.

• Business Administration and Management including Policy Regulation and related fields

• Media and Communications

FSSAI Internship Tenure

The FSSAI internship would be available at different time points during the year. The internships will be for a period of eight weeks that can be extended for reasons to be documented in written to a total period of six months.

How to apply?

• Interested and eligible students can apply online according to the deadlines given by Food Safety & Standards Authority of India, in the specified format. Candidates who have applied for an internship in previous months will have to apply again.

• A brief write up or presentation for final assessment could be expected of the shortlisted candidates.

• The final list of selected candidates will be announced online at FSSAI website.

It is important to mention that FSSAI is an independent statutory body set up under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and under the aegis of Health & Family Welfare Ministry, Government of India. It is the main agency accountable for monitoring food safety & compliance across the country with food standards.
