G20 Agriculture Working Group delegates to visit Haryana
Representatives from the G20's second Agricultural Working Group will visit Haryana on March 31 to meet with state officials, said Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal on Wednesday.
According to Kaushal, 100 participants from the G20 Agricultural Working Group will tour the famous Yadavindra Gardens, which were designed by architect Nawab Fidai Khan in the 17th century.
Sanjeev Kaushal stated that the delegates would be informed of the state's accomplishments, particularly in agriculture. He also went over the preparations for the delegation's visit with state authorities.
The Group of Twenty (G20) is the world's main platform for economic cooperation. It is crucial in shaping and improving global governance and architecture on all major international economic challenges. From 1 December 2022 to 30 November 2023, India will preside over the G20.
It was recently renamed Yadavindra Garden in honour of Maharaja Yadavindra Singh of the former princely state of Patiala.
It was announced during the meeting that selfie sites had been discovered in the garden for delegates to create images and memories for themselves.
On this occasion, a programme exhibiting Haryanvi culture will also be organized. Union Agricultural Secretary Manoj Ahuja will join the delegates, as will senior officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare.
