The Government of Uttarakhand has a big gift for its people on the New Year. The 'UK Free Mobile Tablet Scheme' has been launched by the state government. Under this scheme, government school student’s class 10th and 12th will get free mobiles and tabs. 

Free Tablets & Smart phones: 

Let us tell you that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced the UK Free Mobile Tablet Scheme for about 2,65,000 students of class 10 and 12 of degree colleges and state schools will get the benefit of this scheme. 

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, "During the Corona period, children had to face a lot of difficulties in taking online classes. Keeping in mind the problems faced by the children, tablets are being given to them by the government. 

CM said that under Digital Learning, virtual classes are being run in 500 schools of the state. These services will soon be started in 600 other schools as well. 1,418 smart classes are being established in 709 government schools of the state. This work will be completed by 15 January 2022. 

Eligibility for Uttarakhand Free Tab Scheme 2022 

Applicant should be resident of Uttarakhand state. 

The annual income of the applicant's family from all sources should not exceed Rs. 2 lakh per annum. 

The applicant should not have any backlog in the previous class.

Uttarakhand Free Tablet Scheme 2022 Registration 

For online registration of UK Free Tablet Scheme, one has to apply by visiting the state government website https://uk.gov.in/ 

Recently, Uttar Pradesh Government also distributed Free mobiles, Tablets & laptops to students under the UP Free Laptop yojana.
