Govt. of India is inviting applications for Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) under the INSPIRE scheme. INSPIRE Scholarship for Higher Education 2021-22 is an initiative for students who have passed class 12. The selected students will receive scholarships up to Rs 80,000 per annum for the duration of the course. The Last Date to apply for this scholarship & avail its benefits is 31st January 2022.
The scheme is focused on attracting meritorious students to study basic and natural sciences at college & university level and to pursue research careers in both basic & applied science areas including engineering, medicine, agriculture & veterinary sciences. INSPIRE Scholarship for Higher Education: Eligibility

Age: 17-22 years

Have passed the Class 12 examination from any central/state board in India with aggregate marks within the top 1% of the class

Pursuing a B.Sc/B.S./Int.M.Sc./M.S. degree course in Basic and Natural Sciences from any recognised institute/college/university in India

Among the top 1000 rank holders in JEE of IIT or AIPMT/NEET and pursuing a B.Sc./B.S./Int.M.Sc./M.S. course in Basic and Natural sciences

Pursuing an integrated MS course from NISER, IISERs or be a scholar of KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana), Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Basic Sciences, NTSE (National Talent Search Examination), JBNSTS (Jagadish Bose National Science Talent Search) or be a medalist of International Olympiad pursuing bachelor/master level course in Natural Science.

INSPIRE Scholarship for Higher Education: Documents Required

Passport size Photograph of the applicant in JPEG format with a file size of no more than 50KB

Certificate of community/caste (applicable to SC/ST/OBC students) in PDF format with a file size of no more than 1 MB

The State/Central Board provides an eligibility/advisory note (if available) in PDF format, with a maximum file size of 1 MB

Class 12 marksheet in PDF format with a download size of no more than 1 MB

As a proof of date of birth, a marksheet or certificate from class 10 in PDF format with a file size of no more than 1 MB is required.

Certificate in PDF format with file size not exceeding 1 MB showing rank or award in JEE (Main)/JEE (Advanced)/ KVPY/ NEET/ NTSE/ JBNSTS/ International Olympic Medalists (if applying under this category).

To apply for the INSPIRE scholarship, candidates should go to the INSPIRE scholarship home page online.

The candidate will receive their registered email ID login details after completing the online INSPIRE scholarship registration process.

Then, using their INSPIRE SHE scholarship login credentials, the applicant should check in to their profile.

After successfully logging in, the candidate must complete all required fields on the INSPIRE scholarship portal.

They should also upload all of the required documentation.

Candidates are advised to double-check all details before completing the INSPIRE scholarship application form, since they will be unable to make any changes once it has been submitted.
