Good News for Farmers: Yogi Government Announces Increase in Wheat MSP by Rs. 50

Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh: The Yogi Government has announced an increase in MSP of Rabi crop by 50 rupees, and with this, MSP of the wheat will be Rs. 1975 per quintal.

Yogi Government has announced an increase in MSP of Rabi crop by 50 rupees, and with this, now the procurement of wheat in the state will be increased by Rs. 50 per quintal, i.e. MSP of the wheat will be Rs. 1975 per quintal.  

Millions of farmers will get the benefit of this increase in MSP. UP government is trying to provide relief to the farmers amidst the agitation of farmers against the new agricultural laws brought by the central government. 

In Uttar Pradesh, Yogi government has announced the increase in MSP of Rabi crop by fifty rupees per quintal. And now the MSP of wheat in the state will be Rs. 1975 per quintal.  

Decided by the Central Government in CCEA Meeting 

The Modi government also wants to reassure the farmers about MSP. And it was already announced that there will be an increase in the MSP of six Rabi crops including wheat. Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has already informed in the Lok Sabha that the minimum support price of wheat has been increased by Rs. 50 and now it will be Rs. 1975 per quintal. This increase in MSP was decided in the meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.  

Government is Farmer-Friendly 

As during this protest, MSP is the biggest concern and demand of farmers, so Yogi government wants to give a message to the farmers that the government is farmer-friendly and is working for the benefits of farmers.
