Check policy status online

Now fill your name, policy number and date of birth and once you are registered, you can always check your status by opening your LIC account. You just need to send an SMS to 56677 from your mobile phone. If you want to know the premium for the policy then you can send an SMS as, 'ASKLIC PREMIUM' to 56677. In case your policy is lapsed, send as SMS 'ASKLIC REVIVAL' to the same number.

Get Information about Policy Bonus

Likewise, if you want to know about the policy bonus, just TYPE 'ASKLIC BONUS' to 56677. If you have taken a loan against your policy, send 'ASKLIC Loan' as an SMS. While, if you want to know about the nominee related information of your LIC policy, TYPE 'ASKLIC NOM' and send an SMS to 56677. After this you will get information on your mobile phone as an SMS alert.
