Government Reviews Online Integration of PM Kisan Beneficiaries’ Data

The Kulgam administration is in the process of carefully monitoring the online integration of PM Kisan Yojana beneficiaries’ details.

PM Kisan latest Update: In order to monitor the online integration of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, popularly known as PM Kisan yojana figures with the revenue records of beneficiaries on the website, a joint meeting of Revenue and Agriculture Officers was held on Tuesday (24 January 2023) under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat at DC Office Complex.

The Deputy Commissioner at the beginning took a detailed review regarding the bulk uploading of revenue record of PM Kisan scheme beneficiaries, saturation of bank accounts of farmers and completion of e-KYC process.

The DC was informed that as many as 59994 beneficiaries are registered on PM Kisan website, out of which 26277 have been uploaded till date.

In addition, discussion was held on the categorization of pendencies owing to various reasons.

During the meeting, the DC was also told that many farmers are in possession of cultivable land but mutation is awaiting and instructions have been passed to the Agriculture Department to recognize these beneficiaries so that they reach out to the Revenue Authorities for mutation. And only after this they will become eligible for receiving the upcoming installments of PM Kisan scheme.

Other eminent people who attended the meeting included Additional District Development Commissioner Showkat Ahmad Rather, ACR Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz, Chief Agriculture Officer, Tehsildars and other concerned officials.

16 lakh farmers in Bihar yet to update e-KYC

Meanwhile, the agriculture department in Bihar has urged these over 16 lakh farmers to update their e-KYC on or before January 28. Those who do not complete the e-KYC will not be provided the 13th installment. To get e-KYC done, farmers can visit PM Kisan official website or reach out to the nearest Common Service Center (CSC). By just paying a nominal amount, they can get their e-KYC updated. Below we have given the complete online as well as offline process to complete e-KYC.
