To ensure that all farmers can benefit from these machines, the central and state governments have been providing subsidies on farming equipment

Farming is a crucial aspect of the Indian economy, and the country has always focused on developing its agriculture sector. With the introduction of new machines in farming, the process has become much easier and faster, saving farmers both time and energy.

However, the cost of these machines can be prohibitive for many farmers, making it difficult for them to access the latest technology.

To ensure that all farmers can benefit from these machines, the central and state governments have been providing subsidies on farming equipment. The Madhya Pradesh government has also taken steps in this direction and announced a bumper subsidy on farming machines to help farmers improve their agricultural practices.

Under the e-Krishi Yantra grant, the Madhya Pradesh government is providing subsidies on various farming equipment such as the Super Straw Management System, Happy Seeder, Super Seeder, Zero Till Seed cum Fertilizer Drill, Shrew Master, Paddy Straw Chopper, Shredder, Mulcher, Rotary Slasher, Hydraulic Plough, Baling Machine, Crop Reaper, Straw Rake, and Reaper cum Binder.

Farmers can apply for the grant by visiting the website of the Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development Department.

The subsidy is available to farmers under the E-Krishi Yantra Anudan Yojana, and the government is providing subsidies ranging from 30% to 50% on farming machines. Farmers can receive a grant of approximately 40,000 to 60,000 rupees on each agricultural machinery purchased.

The Madhya Pradesh government's decision to provide subsidies on farming equipment is expected to benefit many farmers who may not have been able to afford these machines otherwise.

With easier access to modern agricultural equipment, farmers can save time and energy and also reduce their expenses on farming. This will ultimately lead to increased productivity and better returns, benefiting the farmers and contributing to the growth of the agriculture sector in the state.
