Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University Celebrates Youth Festival

Dr. Sarvpreet Singh Ghuman, Director of Students’ welfare said that the youth festival refreshes the minds of youngsters and provides an opportunity for them to showcase their talent. In all the competitions, students from the College of Veterinary Science, College of Dairy Science and Technology, College of Fisheries, College of Animal Biotechnology, Veterinary Science College, Rampura Phul, Veterinary Polytechnic, Kaljharani participated along with affiliated college, Khalsa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Amritsar participated. Dr. Parkash Singh Brar, Director of Extension Education was guest of honor in the morning session. He appreciated the artistic capacities of the students.

Dr. A.P.S. Brar, organizing Secretary of the festival detailed that in the first session total of 14 students participated in ‘On the spot Painting competition’ and 28 in Installation. The topic for the Installation was ‘Role of Technology in the Modern Education System’.

Dr Nidhi Sharma, Welfare Officer informed that on 09-11-2023, Creative Writing (09:00 a.m.) and Extempore in first session at 10:00 a.m. while Debate Competition in second session will be held at 02:00 p.m. at Silver Jubilee Auditorium.
