Heavy Rain & Hailstorm Alert over These Parts of the Country; Delhi Temperature Likely to Increase over Next One Week

A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to affect Western Himalayan region during next 24 hours which is likely to result in isolated to scattered rain/snow over Western Himalayan Region and isolated rain/thundershowers over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Rajasthan during next 24 hours, says the weather department in its latest report.  

Moreover, due to confluence between southwesterly & easterly winds, scattered to fairly widespread rainfall/thunderstorm accompanied with lightning & gusty/squally winds very likely over parts of northeast India mainly during next 3 days. The weather department has also predicted rain/thundershowers with lightning & gusty winds over West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand during next 2-3 days. Hailstorm likely over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim & over parts of southern peninsula during next 24 hours and over parts of northeast India on 11th April.  

On the other hand, heat Wave conditions are likely to develop over parts of Gujarat state around 11th April. 

Delhi Weather 

As per the report, Delhi's temperature is likely to increase rapidly over the next week amid seasonal fluctuations. Not only maximum, minimum temperature will also increase. The special thing is that it will be partly cloudy every day. Despite this, heat and temperature will increase. By April 15, Delhi's maximum temperature will reach 40 ° C, says weather forecast. 

As per yesterday’s report, rain/thundershowers observed at many places over Sub Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim and at isolated places over Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Telangana. The maximum temperature was two degrees below normal at 33.0 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was three degrees below normal at 16.6 degrees Celsius.
