ICAR AIEEA PG 2024: NTA Allows Candidates Near Completion of Undergraduate Degrees to Apply for PG Programs
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has updated its notification for ICAR Entrance Examinations 2024, with the exam scheduled for June 29.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the gates for aspiring candidates looking to pursue postgraduate studies in agricultural research. In a recent notification, the NTA announced that candidates nearing completion of their undergraduate degrees can now apply for the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Entrance Examinations for the academic year 2024.
Previously, the eligibility criteria for the ICAR's All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) Postgraduate (PG) programs required candidates to have completed their undergraduate degrees. However, with the recent amendment in ICAR's rules, individuals in the final stages of their undergraduate studies are now eligible to appear for the entrance examination.
According to the updated notification, candidates interested in pursuing postgraduate studies in agricultural research can apply for the ICAR's AIEEA (PG) program through the official ICAR website. The option of 'Appearing' has been made available under the passing status of graduation qualification details, providing an opportunity for students on the completing their undergraduate degrees to participate in the examination.
Registrations for the ICAR Entrance Examinations are currently open and will continue until May 11, 5:00 PM. Candidates are advised to submit their applications within the specified time frame. Moreover, applicants have the provision to make corrections to their particulars from May 13 to May 15, ensuring accuracy in their application details.
To apply for the ICAR AIEEA Exam 2024, candidates can follow a simple procedure outlined by the NTA. They are required to visit the official website of ICAR AIEEA, complete the registration process, fill in the application form, and proceed to make the payment of the application fee. Following submission, candidates are advised to download and save a copy of their application for future reference.
The examination, scheduled to be held on June 29, will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, with a duration of two hours. Candidates will be assessed through objective-type multiple-choice questions in English medium.
