ICAR-IARI to Organize Training on ‘Seed Production, Testing & Storage in Field & Vegetable Crops’ from Sept 9-13, 2024
ZTM & BPD are organizing a training program on seed production, testing, and storage to enhance skills and knowledge in quality seed production, testing, and management. The training will benefit professionals involved in the seed industry.
ZTM & BPD unit together with the Division of Seed Science & technology, ICAR-IARI, Pusa is organizing training on “Seed production, testing and storage in field and vegetable crops” from 09th to 13th September 2024.
Objective of Training

To strengthen the skills and knowledge of officers, executives and managers in quality seed production.

To demonstrate the various seed testing methods including field and lab-based for seed quality assurance.

To raise awareness about the opportunities & challenges in seed certification and quality control.

To provide insights into post-harvest handling and management of seed lots.
