ICAR Recruitment 2022: Applications Invited for Various Posts; Salary Rs. 49,000/Month + HRA & Other Benefits

The ICAR has invited applications from eligible candidates for Project Associate posts under two different projects: DST-National Mission for Sustaining Himalayan Ecosystems (NMSHE) and National Innovations in Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA). Name of the Post: Principal Project Associate-I under NMSHE project

No. of posts: 1

Salary (per month): 49,000/+24% HRA

Education Qualification: MSc/MTech/ME/MCA in computer science/ Information Technology/Geomatics/Geo-informatics/Data Science/Data or System analytics/AI/ML/or equivalent from a recognized university/institution with first class or >7.5% OGPA

Name of the Post: Project Associate-II under NMSHE project

No. of posts: 1

Salary (per month): 35,000/month +24% HRA for 1^st & 2^nd year and 42,000/month +24% HRA for 3^rd 4^th and 5^th year

Education Qualification: MSc/MTech/ME/MCA in computer science/ Information Technology/Remote Sensing-GIS/Atmospheric science/Geomatics / Geoinformatics / Remote Sensing/Data Science/ Data or System analytics/Agronomy/Plant Physiology/Soil Science or equivalent from a recognized university/ institution with first class or >7.5% OGPA

Name of the Post: Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for NICRA project

Salary (per month): Rs 31000/- + 24% HRA

Education Qualification: Master’s Degree (M.Sc. / M.Tech.) in Remote Sensing & GIS / Geomatics / Geoinformatics / Data Science or equivalent with first class or > 7.5% OGPA from a recognized university/ institution

Name of the Post: YP-II For NICRA Project

No. of posts: 1

Salary (per month): Rs.35000 Consolidated

Education Qualification:

• Master’s degree with a specialization in Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry (SSAC)/ Environmental Science (with thesis work) with first class / OGPA>7.5 from a recognized university/ institution.

• MSc with specialization in Environmental Sciences with thesis work / Soil Science

• MSc Ag in Plant Physiology or any branch of Agriculture from a recognized university/ institution with first class or >7.5% OGPA from a recognized university/ institution.

ICAR Recruitment 2022: Age Limit

Maximum age 40 years for PPA, 35 years for PA/SRF/YP-II, (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC).

• The interview for eligible candidates will be held online, details of which will be communicated to eligible candidates by email.

• The candidates will have to compulsorily fill out the application form, all the self-attested scanned certificates from X class onwards, date of birth certificate, NET/equivalent certificate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees certificate or provisional certificate and a recent photograph must be enclosed. Proof of experience and publications also need to be sent by email by 1^st September 2022. The selected candidate will be required to produce all original documents and medical certificates at the time of joining.
