This MoU opens the door for jointly offered certificate programmes in agribusiness.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Indian Institute of Management Indore and Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences Prayagraj to offer joint certificate courses in the agriculture sector and exchange.

A certificate programme is a specialized education designed to help you develop or improve specific job skills. In some cases, a certificate programme is considered continuing education because it expands your knowledge of a specific career or industry.

The outcomes of the collaboration will benefit the farming community significantly, and this MoU will be helpful for students and scientists. It will also help to realize Prime Minister Narendra Modi's goal of raising farmer income.

Additionally, this MoU opens the door for jointly offered certificate programmes in agribusiness. The other objectives of the MoU include cooperating on entrepreneurial, group research, and consulting projects.

At IIM, Indore, SHUATS students will have the opportunity to complete an internship. The MoU was signed by Prof. Jonathan A. Lal, Pro VC (Academic), SHUATS and Prof. Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM Indore.

Agriculture courses assist you in learning and comprehending both the academic and practical aspects of agriculture. A degree in agriculture ensures that you gain in-depth knowledge of agriculture, its socioeconomic implications, and the most recent agricultural practises and technology.

Rai described the collaboration as unique because it is IIM Indore's first MoU with an agricultural university.

He also emphasized that this MoU would benefit producing leaders, particularly in the agricultural sector. Lal also emphasized that the MoU is consistent with the University's motto, Serve the Land and Feed the Hungry.
