IIT Internship 2023: Students Can Apply for IITs Annual Internship Program till March 10

Under the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) summer internship program, students will get a decent amount of money as stipend.

The prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar is presently accepting applications for its summer research internship program.

Now, interested students can apply and review information about this internship program at IIT Gandhinagar's official website, srip.iitgn.ac.in.

Candidates are encouraged to apply for the internship program till March 10, 2023, according the official notification. The internship will be held for a minimum of eight weeks between May 5 and July 15, 2023. In order to be eligible for this summer internship program, which, interested candidates must be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program. The deadline for receiving the application is on March 10th 2023.

A stipend of Rs. 2,000 would be given to the candidates each week. However, the sum is not the same for all interns. For interns who are paid for by the faculty, this sum could change. And for interns who perform exceptionally well, there is another perk as well.

A few chosen candidates will also receive Rs. 50,000 as part of the Bhalodia-Khetan Summer Research Excellence Award.

The "Bhalodia-Khetan Summer Research Excellence Award" (SREA), established thanks to the kind donations of IIT Gandhinagar supporters in New Jersey, Vidya Bhalodia and Dr. Amit Khetan, will honour superior research carried out during IIT Gandhinagar's renowned Summer Research Internship Program. Three awards of Rs. 50,000 each will be given out year, one in each of the categories of engineering, natural science, and humanities & social sciences.

At the conclusion, all students who have successfully completed SRIP in accordance with their faculty guides will be given certificates. The candidate's general profile, including their educational background, performance, research interests, alignment with the projects being offered, and any prior experience they may have, will be examined.

Moreover, other activities will also be taking place according to the official notification. It mentions activities such lecture series, chalk the talk, diaries, poster session, cultural activities, sports’ and much more.

By the end of March, SRIP results are anticipated to be made public on the SRIP website and emails will be issued to the chosen interns.
