India Post Recruitment 2021: The Postal Circle of West Bengal has invited applications for recruitment of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS). It must be noted that the current recruitment drive aims to fill 2357 vacancies of Gramin Dak Sevak under three categories - Branch Postmaster, Assistant Branch Postmaster & Dak Sevak Posts.

• Last Date to Apply: 19^thAugust, 2021 

• No Applications will be considered post-deadline.

Step to Apply for India Post Recruitment

• Visit Official Website of India Post at https://appost.in/gdsonline/ 

• Click on the link “Registration initially candidates have to register in Registration module once per cycle & obtain unique registration number”

• Register by filling in the Aadhar Details, Date of Birth, Phone Number, Category & other columns.

• Answer the questions such as “Can you ride a bicycle or whether employer NOC is available.

• Applicant from UR/OBC/EWS category has to pay Rs 100 as application fee. Candidates, who fall under any category other that this will not be charged by the India Post.

• Submit the post reference.

• Preview & take print-out of the form for future reference.

• Completion of these steps will only be treated as the submission of application.

Age Limit & Relaxations 

• The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 40 years old.

• Candidates falling under SC or ST tribe category will get relaxation of 5 years on upper age limit.

• Candidates falling under Backward Classes category will get age relaxation of 3 years.

• Person with Disabilities will get age relaxation of 10 years.

• Person with Disabilities + OBC will get age relaxation of 13 years.

• Person with Disabilities + SC/ST will get age relaxation of 15 years.
