In association with Krishi Jagran, AFC India Limited is all set to launch India’s first FPO call center on 24th January 2023 (Tuesday). As we see the Indian agriculture sector grow due to the introduction of more farmer-producer organizations, it is very much the need of the hour to help FPOs grow.

This game-changer initiative functions as a Query Resolve Committee with resources available from KVKs, State Agriculture Universities, Central Agriculture Universities, and Subject Matter Specialists (SMS).

Through this project, Krishi Jagran and AFC aim to help FPOs find the best solutions for the smooth functioning of their organizations, the call center provides guidance for issues such as formation, registration, business plan, ROC-related issues, legalization, production, procurement, finances, storage, and processing, to mention a few.

How does the FPO Call Center work?

The FPO call center is devised to receive all inbound calls from FPOs and is linked to the toll-free number- 1800 889 0459.

Once the FPO/ federation/ cooperation dials the number, the call will be diverted to the region or language preferred by the caller.

As the data is received by the call center end, organizations will be asked for basic information and the query after which the call will be transferred to the appropriate experts.

If the query still remains unsolved, then member/s of the Query Resole Committee from AFC and SAU will get in touch to provide the best solution.

The FPO call center facility is available throughout India in 12 languages including English, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, and Oriya.
