Indian Seed Congress 2020 to Start on 16th Feb; Event Details Inside

Indian Seed Congress (ISC), NSAI's annual flagship event is the biggest seed congress of South East Asia that brings together industry people, scientists and governments from all over the world. Indian Seed Congress showcases the latest trends & views of the seed sector, raises their concerns and deliberates on new technological advances to tackle hindrances to growth. ISC is an innovation hub where the impediments are removed & latest technology development and innovations are introduced.

Indian Seed Congress (ISC), NSAI's annual flagship event is the biggest seed congress of South East Asia that brings together industry people, scientists and governments from all over the world. Indian Seed Congress showcases the latest trends & views of the seed sector, raises their concerns and deliberates on new technological advances to tackle hindrances to growth. ISC is an innovation hub where the impediments are removed & latest technology development and innovations are introduced.

It also provides an opportunity for delegates to show new products & services for better business development. The ISC provides a platform for the seed Industry to interact closely with policymakers, technology developers and sector development officials.

Indian Seed Congress, 2020: ‘Seeds-A Gateway of Prosperity’ will begin on 16th February (Sunday) at JW Marriott, Aerocity in New Delhi. In total there will be five technical sessions on different topics and different speakers. The first day will have two sessions. Details are given below;

Technical session - I

Theme – Progress in innovation for harnessing genetics gains for plant variety improvement.

The session will be chaired by Dr. A.K Singh, Deputy Director General (Crop Sciences) ICAR and co-chaired by Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Director of National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources.
