Indo American Hybrid Seeds Showcases Innovation at Global Agritech Exhibition

The participation of Indo American Hybrid Seeds India Pvt. Ltd. (IAHS), Bangalore, at the recent agritech exhibition marked a significant highlight, demonstrating the company’s continued leadership in hybrid seed technology and farmer-centric innovation. A proud moment for IAHS was the visit of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah, to the company’s stall. During his visit, the National Sales Manager, H. P. Doddamani, provided a detailed briefing on the company’s robust research and development capabilities, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and its continuous focus on innovation. He also highlighted the company’s long-standing legacy of serving the farming community for more than 60 years with high-quality hybrid seeds across multiple crops and geographies.

The Hon’ble Chief Minister expressed keen interest in IAHS’s product portfolio, especially appreciating the performance of hybrid chilli varieties such as Indam-5, Indam-54, Indam-6055, and Indam-6024, known for their high yield, quality, and adaptability. He was also impressed with the promising onion varieties including Marshal and Chandan, which are well-suited for Karnataka conditions and are gaining strong acceptance among farmers.

The interaction reflected the Chief Minister’s appreciation for IAHS’s contribution to agricultural development and farmer welfare. He devoted valuable time to understanding the company’s offerings, indicating strong encouragement for innovation-driven agribusiness initiatives.

The exhibition also saw active participation from the company’s leadership team, including Joint Managing Director Ms. Rashmi Attavar and Business Head (VC) Mr. Shridhar Hegde, along with the Sales and Marketing team. The team effectively showcased both existing commercial hybrids and pipeline products, highlighting IAHS’s future-ready approach and strong product development pipeline.
