IRCTC Offers 12-day ‘Char Dham Yatra 2023’ for Pilgrims; Check Details Here

The tour package of the Char Dham Yatra 2023 has been introduced by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC).

The IRCTC’s pilgrim air tour package starts at ₹67,000 per person for triple occupancy

The tour package of the Char Dham Yatra 2023 has been introduced by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). There are several places that will be covered by the IRCTC 11 nights/ 12 days package. 

These include Haridwar, Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, Badrinath, and Rishikesh. The IRCTC’s Char Dham Yatra will start from the Mumbai airport and then commence in the following order: Haridwar – Barkot – Jankichatti – Yamunotri – Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Guptkashi – Son Prayag – Kedarnath – Badrinath – Haridwar - Delhi - Mumbai.

The IRCTC’s pilgrim air tour package starts at ₹67,000 per person for triple occupancy. The prices differ, keeping in mind the number of passengers. For single occupancy, it costs around ₹91,400/ while for double occupancy it costs around ₹69,900.

The departure dates for the IRCTC Char Dham air tour package are as follows:

  1. 21 May 2023-1 June 2023
  2. 28 May 2023-8 June 2023
  3. 4 June 2023- 15 June 2023
  4. 11 June 2023-22 June 2023

Char Dham Yatra Package includes:

  1. Return airfare (Mumbai – Delhi - Mumbai)

  2. 11 nights of lodging in guest houses or standard hotels.

  3. Local Transportation from Delhi Airport & Sightseeing by Tempo Travelers without Air Conditioning.

  4. According to the itinerary, breakfast and dinner. (MAP)

  5. Travel Protection

  6. Parking Fees, Driver's Batta, and Tolls

  7. GST

  8. According to IRCTC, the schedule and departure times are merely estimates, and IRCTC and the handling agency reserve the right to alter them in light of operational issues or unforeseen local conditions.

Passengers can register for Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath.

Before beginning your journey to Char Dham and Hemkund Sahib, you must register yourself and your vehicles in accordance with the Government of Uttarakhand's travel rules. Also, it is crucial to confirm your identity when you arrive at each temple. According to the government, this no-cost exercise is a modest step you may take to help the government administration run Yatra Monitoring and Safety effectively.

Different Modes of Registration:

  1. Online through the IRCTC website
  2. Through Mobile Application - Tourist Care Uttarakhand (Download Android App & iOS App)
  3. Through WhatsApp Facility - Mobile Number: +91 8394833833 (Type: “Yatra" to initiate the registration process in WhatsApp.)

According to IRCTC, the schedule and departure times are merely estimates, and IRCTC and the handling agency reserve the right to alter them in light of operational issues or unforeseen local conditions.

The mode of verification includes using a mobile app's "QR Code" or a downloading a "Yatra Registration Letter."  

In the meantime, Pushkar Singh Dhami, the chief minister of Uttarakhand, allayed any worries about the Char Dham yatra in light of the subsidence in Joshimath. Dhami had earlier assured the public that the pilgrimage will be done securely when speaking to reporters. He highlighted that Joshimath, which acts as the entrance to Badrinath, should be completely clear in everyone's mind.
