Jeevan Shakti Yojana: Women Can Earn Good Money by Making Mask at Home amid 2.0 Lockdown

Amid the 2.0 nationwide lockdown, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has launched the Jeevan Shakti Yojana in the ministry on Saturday for the welfare of women as well as the whole nation. Through this yojana, women can make house-to-house masks and make a profit in urban areas. The government will provide them with an amount of Rs 11 per mask immediately. Moreover, it will be a contribution towards the nation’s fight as wearing a mask will save people's lives.

Through this yojana, women can make house-to-house masks and make a profit in urban areas. The government will provide them with an amount of Rs 11 per mask immediately. Moreover, it will be a contribution towards the nation’s fight as wearing a mask will save people's lives. 

Talking to women who have registered to make masks through video conferencing, Chauhan said that by making masks they will not only make a profit, but also participate in the nation’s fight against global pandemic COVID-19. 

CM Talks to Women for Making Masks 

As per reports, CM Shivraj Chauhan talked to Rabia Khan Bhopal, Saina B Neemuch, Vrinda Ahirwar Raisen, Varsha Joshi Indore, Garima Ujjain, and Noori Guna through video conferencing and informed about the construction of masks.

How Women can Apply for the Yojana?

Must be registered in the call centre

Women who are wishing to make masks will have to register themselves through their telephone or mobile phone by calling on the call center number 0755-2700800. After registration, they will get an order to make masks on mobile. They will get orders to make at least 200 masks at a time. Masks are made of cotton cloth. After making the mask, she will submit the masks she has made to the nodal officer in her civic body. As soon as the mask is submitted, the payment will be processed. Payment will be received on their account on the same day or the next day. As per report, they will get Rs. 11  Per mask while they will be assigned to make 200 mask in one time.
