Jeffry Rebello Elected as the President of United Planters’ Association of South India

Rebello hails from a family of coffee planters and manages his plantation in Sakleshpur, Karnataka.

Jeffry Rebello at the 129th annual general meeting of the United Planters’ Association of India held in Coonoor in Nilgiris district on Monday.

Jeffry Rebello, former chairman of Karnataka Planters’ Association, has been elected as the President of the United Planters’ Association of South India (UPASI) for the year 2022-23.

His appointment was made at the 129th annual general meeting of the United Planters’ Association of India held in Coonoor in Nilgiris district on Monday.

Jeffry Rebello, present at the meeting, extended the vote of thanks to honorable guests and members for their esteemed presence and also for making the annual conference a success.

Rebello manages his farm in Sakleshpur, Karnataka, and comes from a family of coffee planters. He was the chairman of the Karnataka Planters’ Association from 2006-07.

He has also served on the UPASI executive committee and as Coffee Committee chairman for the last three years.

It was formed with the vision to unite for a common cause- to promote, diffuse and disseminate knowledge relating to planting and the plantation industry.
