KAU Launches Free Online Course on IoT Concepts in Agriculture; Register Now

The Centre for e-Learning at Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) is inviting applications for a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on 'IoT Concepts in Agriculture'. The course, conducted in English, aims to equip participants with essential knowledge and skills in leveraging Internet of Things (IoT) technologies for agricultural practices. The classes are scheduled to begin on 08th April 2024 and end on 1st May 2024. The online course spans over 24 days with a total of 10 sessions. Participants are required to dedicate approximately half to one hour daily for the course. Classes will be conducted through the KAU MOOC platform, accessible at 'celkau.in.'

Registration Process

Interested individuals can register for the course before the deadline on April 7, 2024. The registration process involves two stages:

Stage I: One-Time Platform Registration

  1. Visit the link www.celkau.in/MOOC/Default.aspx

  2. Click on the 'Register' button and proceed to fill in the necessary information.

  3. Complete the registration process by clicking on the 'Register' button.

Stage II: Course Registration 4. Login using your user ID by accessing the 'Praveshanam' link on the homepage or by clicking on 'coursilekkulla praveshanam'.

  1. Click on 'Puthiya coursukal' and select the course 'IoT Concepts in Agriculture'. Followed by clicking on 'angathwam neduka' to confirm registration.

  2. Starting from April 8, 2024, participants can log in and commence the learning activities.

Certificate of Completion

Upon successful completion of the course, participants can obtain certificates by paying a nominal fee. The certification serves as a recognition of the acquired skills and knowledge in IoT applications within the agricultural domain.
