Kisan Andolan Day 18: Haryana Farmer Producer Bodies Come Out in Support of Agricultural Laws

One side, where Farmers’ Movement is going on in the protest against the new Agriculture laws, and the other side, Haryana farmers have come out in the support of these laws. Farmers have supported the new Agricultural Laws, and demanded that the Minimum Support Price (MSP) and the Mandi System (APMC) should continue.

One side, where Farmers’ Movement is going on with full swing against the new Agricultural Laws, and the other side, Haryana farmers have come out in the support of these laws.

Moreover, Farmers’ Organizations in Haryana have submitted a letter of support to the Agricultural Minister, Narendra Singh Tomar.

Laws shouldn’t be Cancelled

The delegation of farmers of Haryana met the Agricultural Minister Narendra Singh Tomar in Delhi.

These farmers have demanded the Agricultural Minister to not repeal the new Agricultural Laws. And, in this regard, he has also handed over a letter of support to the Agricultural Minister.

Farmers have supported the new Agricultural Laws, and demanded that the Minimum Support Price (MSP) and the Mandi System (APMC) should continue.

The farmers have said that, even though some reforms need to be corrected in the law, but not to be cancelled, because these laws are going to benefit the farmers.

Union Minister’s Words

At the same time, Union Minister, Piyush Goyal has said that the doors of the Government of India are open for the farmers 24 hours. He said, “I understand that if this peasant movement is freed from Maoist and Naxal Forces, then our farmer brothers and sisters will surely understand that, these Farm Laws are for them and the National interest.” He also mentioned that, everyone believes that our leaders will take care of us.

He said, “An atmosphere of fear has been created by these Naxalities that, if farmer leaders want to talk about the real issues, then no one is able to build the courage because these Naxalities are intimidating.”
