KJ Chaupal, a platform well recognised for bringing interactions with some of the leading think tanks of the agriculture sector from across the globe, today saw two international guests, who surely can be called veterans of their trade. Maybe they weren’t from the agri sector but having such distinguished guests were no less a feat worth talking!

The esteemed guests with the Krishi Jagran Team

Prof. Dr Victor Barabash, Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Head of Mass Communication Department along with Natalia Poplavskaya, Deputy Dean for International Relations, Faculty of Philology & Associate Professor, Mass Communication Department and Head of MA program 'Global and Digital Media' were at Krishi Jagran headquarters to attend the KJ Chaupal.

“We are honoured to have such guests in our office today. Their impact and exposure in the field of journalism and global media will be an inspiration for our young agri-journalists,” says MC Dominic, the Editor-in-Chief and Founder, Krishi Jagran.

Followed by Natalia who talked quite candidly about RUDN University, said, “Our university is purely international as we have students from across the globe. It’s a place where many are united under one university campus. It helps us to share not only knowledge and skills but also their unique intercultural spirit.” Adding further she mentioned the range of courses available such as Journalism, Public Relations, Psychology and Linguistics, to name a few.

Prof. Dr Victor Barabash began by addressing the audience with “Namaskar” and expressing his gratitude towards the rather unusual and warm welcome by Krishi Jagran. While he spoke in Russian, Natalia translated every bit of his words into English. “We really appreciate the efforts made by Krishi Jagran team for working for a sector like agriculture, while the world runs after lifestyle or movies, your work for the agriculture sector is surely far more amazing,” sums up Natalia and Victor.

The Chaupal ended with a quick photo session that saw everyone smiling and thanking Victor and Natalia for coming over!
