Krishi Jagran organized the 'MFOI Samridh Kisan Utsav' on March 18, 2024, at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Baramati, Pune, Maharashtra. Themed 'Maximizing Farmers' Income for a Prosperous Bharat' and powered by Dhanuka Agritech and Bavaria ISUZU, this event drew a crowd of progressive millionaire farmers and industry experts, united in their dedication to uplift the farming community through the latest practices and innovations.
A Confluence of Knowledge and Progress
The day commenced with a warm welcome from Shruti Joshi, Event and PR Head at Krishi Jagran Media, Delhi, setting the stage for a series of insightful discussions and success stories. Prahlad Vare, from Baramati FPCL FPO, shared an inspiring narrative of triumph, sparking optimism among attendees.
The agenda unfolded with experts delving into crucial topics such as 'Disease & Pest Management in Sugarcane' and 'Innovation in Tractor Industry'.
Dr. Milind Joshi, the Subject Matter Specialist in Plant Protection at KVK Baramati, discussed Disease and Pest Management in Sugarcane. Mr. Ramdas Ukale, the Zonal Marketing Manager at Mahindra Tractor, spoke about Tractor Maintenance and Innovation in the Tractor Industry.
Mr. Rahul Deshmukh, Regional Manager of Dhanuka Agritech Limited, enlightened the attendees on Crop Care and the company's products while Mr. Sanjog Das, Area Sales Manager at Bavaria ISUZU, talked about the vehicle offerings at their showroom and how attendees can visit to gain more knowledge on vehicles.
The event also featured speeches from Mr. Santosh Godase, SMS Agri Extension at KVK Baramati; Mr. Laxman Ambawale, Sales Manager; Mr. Santosh Karanje, SMS (Agronomy) at KVK Baramati; and Ms. Supriya Bandal, Taluka Agriculture Officer at Baramati, Department of Agriculture, Pune, amongst others.
Another notable highlight of the event was the address by Dr. Dheeraj Shinde, Senior Scientist and Head at KVK Baramati Pune, about the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Agriculture. As AI takes over the world, it is time to discuss how AI could be integrated into the Indian Agricultural Space.
Celebrating Farmer Contributions and Innovation
Amidst the discussions, the event celebrated the remarkable achievements of farmers, honoring them for their outstanding contributions to the sector. Dhanuka Agritech presented its gift hampers awards to deserving recipients, recognizing their dedication and excellence.
