On June 21, 2024, Krishi Jagran organized the 'MFOI Samridh Kisan Utsav' at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Dantewada, Chhattisgarh. Sponsored by Mahindra Tractors, the event focused on the theme 'Maximizing Farmers Income for a Prosperous Bharat,' aiming to enrich the agricultural community with the latest practices and innovations. Building on the success of the 2023 MFOI Award Show, Krishi Jagran introduced two new initiatives: the Samridh Kisan Utsav and the MFOI VVIF Kisan Bharat Yatra. These programs aim to strengthen the farming community by providing platforms for knowledge exchange, innovation display, and networking.

The event was graced by notable guests including Suraj Kumar Pansari, DDA; Diklesh Kumar, ADH; and Diproshan Banjara, KVK Head. Over 100 farmers participated, gaining valuable insights into new agricultural technologies and practices. The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) served as the knowledge partner, highlighting the importance of community development and knowledge sharing.

The day commenced with participant registration, followed by a ceremonial lamp-lighting. Throughout the day, farmers engaged in sessions about new agricultural techniques and shared their experiences. They also learned about the ‘Millionaire Farmer of India (MFOI)’ Awards initiative by Krishi Jagran, which seeks to recognize outstanding contributions to the field of agriculture.

Chiranjeevi Kumar, Assistant Area Manager at Mahindra Tractors, highlighted the transformative potential of advanced agricultural machinery. He showcased the latest Mahindra tractor models designed to enhance efficiency and productivity, including the Mahindra YUVO TECH Plus 415 DI and Mahindra 415 DI SP Plus Tractor.

During the Samridh Kisan Utsav, outstanding and progressive farmers who have made significant contributions to agriculture were honored with certificates. This recognition emphasized the vital role of innovation and dedication in modern agriculture. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, marking a successful day dedicated to empowering the farming community and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

Participants learned about new agricultural techniques and exchanged ideas with peers. Farmers visited the Mahindra Tractors display to gather comprehensive information about the latest tractors on display. The demonstrations underscored Mahindra Tractors' commitment to supporting agricultural development through advanced technology.
