Krishi Jagran to organize live discussion “Budget ki Baat, Kisano ke Sath” on 8th February, 2022. All those interested to listen to this discussion, can tune in to Krishi Jagran’s official facebook page at 3 PM on 8 February 2022.
The Union Budget was presented in front of the Nation on 1st February 2022, by Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman. This year was her fourth budget after 2019, 2020, and 2021.
It was noticed that this year’s budget has received mixed reactions from the Farmers, Industrialists & Experts. Nirmala Sitharaman, promised high levels of payments for rice and paddy purchase at the minimum support price (MSP), and her address focused on agricultural technologies and start-ups, which was largely welcomed by the industry.
Farmers' organizations, on the other hand, were dissatisfied with the absence of support for the acquisition of products other than rice and paddy, as well as the reduction in fertilizer subsidies. The Centre's goal of doubling farmers' income by 2022, which has been a recurring theme in recent Budget speeches, was not mentioned this time.
Krishi Jagran understands the importance of the voice of each & every farmer of the country and therefore we are organizing a live discussion “Budget ki Baat, Kisano ke Sath” where we will give opportunity to farmers & distinguished Agricultural economists to voice their opinion about the budget 2022-23.
This discussion, “Budget ki Baat, Kisano ke Sath” will be held on 8th February, 2022. All those interested to listen to this discussion can tune in to Krishi Jagran’s official facebook page at 3 PM on 8 February 2022.
