Krishi Jagran's MC Dominic Meets AARDO Secretary-General to Propel Global Reach of Millionaire Farmer of India Awards

Krishi Jagran's Founder and Editor-in-Chief, MC Dominic, met with H.E. Manoj Nardeosingh, Secretary General of the African-Asian Rural Development Organization (AARDO) in New Delhi on January 4, 2024. Their conversation revolved around the impactful Millionaire Farmer of India (MFOI) Awards and its global resonance.

The Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Krishi Jagran, MC Dominic, on Thursday, January 04, 2024, met the H.E. Manoj Nardeosingh, Secretary General, AARDO in New Delhi. "The MFOI Awards has brought a series of positive discussions in the power corridors not only in India but on a global level too," H.E. Manoj Nardeosingh, Secretary General, AARDO, said.

H.E. Manoj Nardeosingh expressed the Awards' positive influence, noting its discussions within India's corridors of power and its global reach. He assured his support to elevate MFOI on an international scale.

 

Highlighting a growing trend, he remarked on Indian farmers embracing agriculture with pride, attracting the country's youth towards it as a promising career. This shift, he attributed to the Millionaire Farmer of India Awards' significant impact.

H.E. Manoj Nardeosingh was one of the esteemed speakers in the session - Global Markets: Leveraging Exports for Escalated Farm Revenue - during MFOI on December 8, 2023. Encouraging the farmers, he said, "You are the leader, you have taken the baton further, it will be an eye-opener for not only India but other countries as well. We will develop synergy to graduate to another level where we will be talking more about smart farming, prudent farming, market intelligence, and AI".

He also talked about value addition, "Agri processing and agribusiness are in the pipeline because we are working on value addition. We aim to increase productivity and access more export markets to tap these opportunities, to derisk the lives of these individuals so that all the issues faced by the people in rural India will be solved".

 

Spilling the beans about the future initiates, he said, "The ramifications of these awards will very much have ripple effects in Asia and neighbouring countries and I am very much excited to take it to other countries. This is a unique initiative and let's urbanise our efforts."

H.E. Manoj Nardeosingh, who is working on agriculture diplomacy, said that he is planning to take MFOI to several countries in Asia and Africa.

Krishi Jagran organized a three-day mega agricultural event – the Millionaire Farmer of India Awards sponsored by Mahindra Tractors – from December 6 to 8, 2023. More than 37000 millionaire farmers registered themselves at millionairefarmer. in, while a handful of progressive ones were awarded in three categories, namely – National, State, and District level – winners.

Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying Parshottam Rupala felicitated - Dr Rajaram Tripathi, who has an annual income of Rs 25 crores, with the Richest Farmer of India Award (RFOI), Rathnamma Gundamanttha, woman-farmer who makes 1.18 crore annually, with the Millionaire Farmer of India Award (female), and Ramesh Ruparelia, who is famous for selling Rs 6 Lakh per kg ghee, with Richest Dairy Farmer of India Award.

The top two farmers were honored with a luxurious seven-day trip in Brazil sponsored by APEXBRASIL, initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, Brazil Government.
