In the eve of extensive use of vegetables which are cultivated using fertilizers and pesticides, it is the need of the hour to create awareness among the general public, about the issues it causes to health, and also about the alternative way of organic farming.

To spread the message of goodness of Organic Farming, Kudumbashree Women Self Help group is using street plays as the tool for propagation. They are all set to travel to different parts of the district to share this message. It is a seven member group from Rangashree Community Theater, formed by Malappuram District Kudumbashree Mission.

The group presents a 20 Minute long street drama featuring all the ventures of Kudumbashree related to Organic Farming.  They were able to present street plays in 12 places on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Kudumbashree is the women empowerment and poverty eradication program, framed and enforced by the State Poverty Eradication Mission (SPEM) of the Government of Kerala.
