KVK Organizes Awareness Program on New Farm Laws for Farmers

This program was organized by KVK for five days, on 3,9,12, 16, & 29 December 2020. This awareness program was organized in the nearby villages including Gondakuwa, Akya, Bardari, Chapariya, Tillore Khurd, etc.

Indore: KrishiVigyan Kendra, Kasturbagram, Indore, Madhya Pradesh organized awareness programs to provide all the necessary information about new agricultural laws. And they also organized SwacchataPakhwada from 16th December to 31st December.

About KVK

The KrishiVigyan Kendra (KVK) is district level Farm Science Centre established by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) for speedy transfer of technology to the farmers’ fields. The aim of KVK is to reduce the time lag between generation of technology at the research institution and its transfer to the farmers’ fields for increasing production and productivity and income from the agriculture and allied sectors on a sustained basis.

Awareness Program

This program was organized for five days, on 3,9,12, 16, & 29 December 2020. This awareness program was organized in the nearby villages including Gondakuwa, Akya, Bardari, Chapariya, TilloreKhurd, etc.

In this program new agricultural laws were discussed in detail and all the confusions were cleared regarding the laws, so that no misconceptions remain in farmers’ mind. Along with this, 2 webinars were also organized for the farmers by the KrishiVigyan Kendra and KrishiAbhiyantriki Department.

About the Program

Scients of KrishiVigyan Kendra explained about the sales of agricultural produce, contract farming, etc. in detail in the seminars organized by Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Department andAatma. They also discussed about the other necessary information with farmers. And also tried to resolve all the curiosities of the farmers related to the new farm laws.
