LPG companies use to change their rules from time to time. According to recent reports, the delivery system of LPG Cylinders is going to change from next month. The gas companies have announced the changes on home delivery from November 1. Moreover, oil companies are going to implement the new LPG cylinder delivery system from 1 November to prevent the stealing of domestic cylinder and to identify the right customer.  Let's know what this new system is and what will be the changes in home delivery from November 1.

What is the New System of LPG Home Delivery?

This new system is being named as DAC i.e. Delivery Authentication Code. Now, just by booking, the cylinder will not be delivered, but a code will be sent to your registered mobile number, that code will not be completed until you show the code to the delivery boy.

However, if there is a customer who has not updated the mobile number to the distributor, then the delivery boy will have an app through which you will be able to update your number in real time. And you will be able to generate the code after that.

In such a situation, those customers will face difficulties whose addresses and mobile numbers are wrong. However, because of this, the delivery of those cylinders can be stopped.

Will be implemented in First 100 Smart Cities

Oil companies are going to implement this system in the first 100 smart cities. After this, the rest can be gradually implemented in another city as well. Its pilot project is already underway in Jaipur.

Only for Domestic cylinders

The oil companies have got a success rate of more than 95 percent of this project. However, this system will not be applicable to commercial cylinders. These rules will be applied for domestic cylinders only.
