Latest News: LPG Price Drops by Rs 91.50, Check New Price of Gas Cylinder Here

Good News for LPG Customers! Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders weighing 19 kg are now Rs 91.50 cheaper. The new pricing will be in effect starting on September 1.

Commercial LPG cylinders are retailed in Delhi for Rs 1,885, down from Rs 1,976.

Hotels, restaurants, and other commercial facilities that buy 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders will benefit from the price reduction.

Notably, this is the fourth reduction in prices of commercial LPG cylinders since June.

The 19-kg cylinder will now cost Rs 1,995.50 in Kolkata instead of Rs 2,095.50 as it did previously.

Users of commercial LPG cylinders in Mumbai would now pay Rs. 1,844 rather than Rs. 1,936.50.

A commercial LPG cylinder will cost Rs 1,844 in Mumbai, down from Rs 1,936.50, while a 19-kg LPG cylinder would cost Rs 2,045 in Chennai, down from Rs 2,141 before.

It is important to mention that the rates for commercial LPG are updated once every month.

Domestic LPG cylinder consumers, however, have not experienced any relief as the cost of cooking gas cylinders has remained constant since it was hiked by Rs 50 on July 6.

According to industry sources, the costs of LPG used in household kitchens have climbed since they were previously much below the price and are now at breakeven due to a decline in global pricing.

Delhi's current pricing for a non-subsidized 14.2 kg cylinder is Rs 1,053. It costs Rs 1,068 in Chennai, Rs 1,068 in Kolkata, and Rs 1,068 in Mumbai.

The cost of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) has been somewhat reduced by 0.7%. In the nation's capital, the cost of jet fuel was reduced by Rs 874.13 per kilolitre, or 0.7%, to Rs 121,041.44 per kg. Rates differ from state to state depending on the incidence of local taxes.
