LATEST Unlock 4.0 Guidelines! Metro, Open Air theatres & 100 people gathering allowed from September 1

The Union Government has announced new rules for Unlock 4.0 as several restrictions were lifted. Delhi Metro and Open Air theatres are allowed while schools and colleges remain shut.

After 167 days, 4008 hours, 240480 minutes, 14428800 seconds the Delhi Metro is all set to open as the new rules and regulations were announced by the government for lockdown 4.0.

The lockdown will come on effect from September 1 and will end on September 30.

Cinema Halls, Schools, Educational Institutes to remain closed.

What’s New

There are several relaxations compared to the previous lockdown.

  • The lifeline of the national capital i.e. Delhi Metro is all set to open from September 7.

  • No tokens will be issued at the metro stations and all the passengers will have to use smart card for travelling.

  • Thermal screening of every passenger will be done failing in which he would not be allowed entry into the station.

  • No cash will be accepted within the premises of the metro with only digital payments being accepted.

  • Open Air theatres can function from September 21 with limited audiences while closed air theatres still remain closed.

  • Swimming pools, Entertainment parks, are exempted from operating in this lockdown phase.

  • From September 21, congregation of 100 people will be allowed with SOPs being followed strictly.

  • Lockdown outside of containment zones can be done by the state government with the permission of the central government.

  • Schools and Colleges will continue to operate online classes but schools are allowed to permit 50% of the teaching and non teaching staff to come to school for work.

  • Students can also go to school for guidance of teacher but only if they have written consent of their parents.

  • All restrictions on intra and interstate movement of people and goods have been lifted except for containment zones.

  • No permits or e- passes required for travelling throughout the country.

  • Only essential services allowed in all containment zones.

  • International Air travel is still suspended till September 30 except for foreign citizens who are travelling to their country’s fly back program.
