Lok Sabha Elections 2019: RJD Releases Party Manifesto; Promises Reservation for Dalits & Other Backward Classes

Tejashwi Yadav, Rashtriya Janata Dal, RJD leader today, 8th April released the party manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2019 in Patna.

The RJD in its manifesto has promised reservation to the Dalits as well as other backward classes on the basis of their population in the state. The manifesto has also listed promotion in reservation & promises to fill up all government positions lying empty. The RJD chief said that the party has an action plan ready to create job opportunities in the state.

In its election manifesto named 'Pratibadhata Patra,' the party has promised to put into practice Mandal Commission if voted to power. The Rashtriya Janata Dal has also promised to work for social justice, reservation among others.

Tejashwi Yadav while releasing the manifesto told that the party will take all necessary steps to end migration of locals’ out of the state in search of job opportunities.

Yadav added that he backed the Congress party's NYAY scheme, which was mentioned in the Grand Old Party's election manifesto released few days back.

To recall, Bihar will vote in all the 7 phases of the Lok Sabha elections 2019, starting on 11th April. Voting will conclude on 19th May and counting will be done on 23rd May.

In the meantime, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will release its much-awaited poll manifesto for the Lok Sabha election shortly. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi along with BJP head Amit Shah, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and other senior BJP leaders will be present during the event.
