LPG Cylinder Price Cut by Rs 198; Check Prices of LPG in Your State Here

Twice a month, at the beginning and the middle of the month, OMCs announce changes to LPG prices.

In Delhi, the cost of a 19-kilogramme commercial LPG cylinder has been down by Rs 198 as of today. Now, the price is Rs 2,021. It was formerly priced at Rs 2,219. This price reduction is the second in a month. The cost of a commercial cylinder was reduced by Rs 135 as of June 1. However, the cost of a 14.2 kg household cooking cylinder is still the same.

The 19-kilogramme commercial cylinder will cost Rs 198 less each bottle from today. A 19-kilogramme commercial cylinder will now cost Rs 2021 instead of the previous Rs 2,219 per bottle in Delhi, Rs 2140 instead of the previous Rs 2,322 in Kolkata, Rs 1981 instead of the previous Rs 2,171.50 in Mumbai, and Rs 2186 instead of the previous Rs 2,373 in Chennai.

On May 19, the cost of LPG cylinders for both household and commercial use increased nationwide. The cost of cooking had increased for the second time in a month at this point.

The price of a home 14-kilogramme cylinder was increased by Rs 3.50, while the price of a commercial 19 kg cylinder was raised by Rs 8 per cylinder. In the meantime, India's fuel costs have remained constant for more than a month. People will be relieved that the price of petrol and diesel will not change on July 1. Even a small change in fuel prices can have a significant effect on people's daily lives and society as a whole.

On May 21, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a decrease in the excise duty on fuel, which resulted in a significant decrease in the price of petrol and diesel. Diesel cost was down by Rs 6 per litre, while the price of petrol was dropped by Rs 8.

On June 30, Delhi will charge Rs 96.72 for petrol and Rs 89.62 for diesel per litre. Mumbai, on the other hand, is offering petrol at Rs 111.35 per litre. Currently, a litre of diesel costs Rs 97.28 in the city. In Chennai, individuals must spend Rs 102.63 for one litre of petrol and Rs 94.24 for one litre of diesel, compared to Rs 106.03 for one litre of petrol and Rs 92.76 for one litre of diesel in Kolkata.
