LPG Latest Update: What will be the Cost of LPG Cylinder before Diwali & What will be the Effect on Subsidy

LPG prices are reviewed on the very first day of every month. Hence, people are eagerly waiting to know November month LPG price as it's the month of festival. Moreover, the price of LPG has come down in the international market from the last few months. This time also it is expected that there will be no major change in the prices of domestic LPG. This means that before the festivals like Diwali and Karwa Chhath, common man will get relief from high price.

Meanwhile, people are also discussing on LPG Subsidy. However, the price of LPG has come down in the international market  which makes the government to lessen the subsidy amount. In May, June, July, August, September and October, a nominal subsidy reached the customers' account which made them worried for the subsidy.

Why consumers are getting less Subsidy?

People's AGPG subsidy is coming very less. The reason behind this is that the price of domestic gas has come down in May, June, July, August, September and now October this year and customers have received very little subsidy. A nominal subsidy of Rs 37 has been received in the accounts.

It may be noted that the subsidy and the price of non-subsidized cooking gas cylinders have become almost equal since May this year due to the continuous reduction in subsidy by the government. The government puts the difference in the price of subsidy and non-subsidized LPG cylinder in the form of subsidy to the customer's account.

These rules will be changed from November 1

Here, the process of home delivery of LPG cylinder is going to change. From November 1, you will need OTP to order gas cylinders at your home. Now while booking LPG cylinder, the work of sending one time password to your registered mobile number will be done by the company. At the time of LPG cylinder home delivery, you will have to tell the OTP to the delivery boy, only then the cylinder will be delivered to your home.
