LPG Price Hike: Commercial Gas Cylinder Witnesses Price Hike of Rs 48.50
Oil marketing companies have hiked commercial LPG cylinder prices, with Delhi now at Rs 1,740. Domestic cylinder rates remain stable, offering relief to households.
Oil marketing companies have increased the prices of commercial LPG cylinders from today. However, no change has been made in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders. Now you will have to pay up to Rs 48.50 more for commercial gas cylinders. However, no change has been made in the prices of 14.2 kg domestic gas cylinders.
The price of commercial cylinder has been increased by Rs 48.50. In Delhi, a 19 kg cylinder will now be available for Rs 1740, whereas earlier its price was Rs 1691. In Kolkata, its price has gone up to Rs 1850.50, which was earlier Rs 1802. In Mumbai, it has gone up to Rs 1692.50 and in Chennai, it has gone up to Rs 1903.
There has been no change in the price of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder. This cylinder is available for Rs 803 in Delhi, Rs 829 in Kolkata, Rs 802.50 in Mumbai and Rs 818.50 in Chennai. For the beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana, the price of domestic cylinder in Delhi is Rs 603.
On September 1, 2024, the price of commercial cylinder was Rs 1691 in Delhi, Rs 1802 in Kolkata, Rs 1644 in Mumbai and Rs 1855 in Chennai. In August, these prices were Rs 1652.50 in Delhi, Rs 1764.50 in Kolkata, Rs 1605 in Mumbai and Rs 1817 in Chennai.
This year, oil marketing companies have increased the price of commercial LPG cylinders several times. At the same time, the price of domestic gas cylinder has not been changed for a long time. A big relief was given by the central government on Women's Day. In the month of March this year, the government had reduced the price of domestic gas cylinder by up to Rs 100.
