Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University (MAFSU), Nagpur Maharashtra is inviting applications on behalf of the eligible candidates for the post of Vice Chancellor of the university. MAFSU is a state-level professional university, established in 2000.

The Search Committee is now accepting applications or nominations from distinguished academicians, scientists, and leaders who meet the requirements for the position of Vice-Chancellor set forth in the Government decree dated October 19, 2010, and who are eager to take on this difficult task. On the university website, www.mafsu.in, you may find all the information you need regarding prerequisite education and experience, desirable education and experience, desired abilities and competencies, and application format, among other things.

Dr. N. P. Sahu, Joint Director of the ICAR Central Institute of Fisheries Education in Mumbai, has been chosen by the Search Committee to serve as a Nodal Officer. Applications and nominations may be submitted to the Nodal Officer, with the subject line of the envelope clearly stating "Application for the Post of Vice-Chancellor, MAFSU, Nagpur”.

Vacancy Details:

Interested parties may submit their application in the required format along with a two-page statement of why they should be considered for the position, a two-page vision statement for the university, and the names of three eminent people who are familiar with their body of work. Institutions may also suggest qualified candidates by submitting the incumbents' applications in the manner described above.

Selection Process:

Candidates making the shortlist will be invited to meet with the search committee.
